Everything You Need to Know Before You Sail

  • Comfort: Fully air-conditioned interior saloon and cabins for resting or changing.

  • Galley (Kitchen): Access to refrigerator, microwave, and cooler boxes for food & beverage storage.

  • Sanitary Facilities: Private onboard washroom/shower facilities.

Charter Inclusions

  • Crew: Licensed Captain and deck crew to assist with serving and safety.

  • Fuel & Utilities: All standard cruising fuel and utility costs included.

  • Water Toys: Usage of vessel’s standard water toys (e.g., Stand-Up Paddleboard, Floating Mats).

House Rules & Conduct (Read Strictly)

  • Footwear Policy: For safety and deck preservation, no shoes are allowed on board. Crew will collect footwear upon boarding.

  • Red Wine Policy: Strictly Prohibited. Red wine stains teak wood and interior fabrics permanently. White wine, champagne, and clear spirits are welcome.

  • Marine Toilet System: Please do not throw toilet paper, sanitary pads, or trash into the toilet bowl. Marine plumbing is sensitive and clogs easily. Bins are provided.

  • Cleaning & Damages:

    • Vomit/Soiling Fee: A professional cleaning fee (starting from $200+) applies if guests soil the yacht (vomit, heavy spills, etc.).

    • Damages: Guests are liable for any breakage of equipment or furniture during the charter.

  • Smoking: Permitted only at the rear (stern) of the yacht while stationary. Strictly no smoking in cabins or covered deck areas.

Safety & Logistics

  • Embarkation Point: [Insert Marina Name Here, e.g., ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove].

  • Punctuality:

    • The charter starts and ends at the specific booked time.

    • Late arrival by guests does not extend the charter duration.

    • No Show: Arrival more than 1 hour late without notice is considered a cancellation with no refund.

  • Water Safety:

    • Life jackets are available and mandatory during emergency situations.

    • Swimming Cut-off: No water activities allowed after 7:00 PM (Sunset) for safety visibility.

  • Prohibited Items: No illegal substances, firearms, or hazardous items. Possession results in immediate charter termination and police reporting.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Weather

  • Weather Policy (Rain or Shine):

    • Charters generally proceed in light rain.

    • Captain’s Decision: If heavy rain/storms make sailing unsafe, the Captain may delay the start or reschedule to a later date.

    • No Refunds: Weather cancellations are strictly for rescheduling only; no cash refunds.

  • Cancellation Terms:

    • < 14 Days Notice: 100% Forfeiture (No refund, No reschedule).

    • < 1 Month Notice: 50% Penalty / Fees apply for rescheduling.

    • > 1 Month Notice: Eligible for reschedule or refund (less admin fees).

What Else Was Added? (And Why)

  1. The “Marine Toilet” Rule: This is the #1 maintenance nightmare. If a guest throws a tampon or a wad of tissue in a marine head, it breaks the pump. You need this written down so you can charge them for the repair if it happens.

  2. Vomit/Soiling Fees: “cleaning fee” is vague. Specifying “Vomit” makes people drink more responsibly because they know it will cost them money.

  3. Embarkation Point: Customers always forget where to go. Having a placeholder for “ONE 15 Marina” or “Marina at Keppel Bay” reduces “Where are you?” phone calls.

  4. Swimming Cut-off (Sunset): The White Pearl page mentioned this, but it is a general maritime safety rule in Singapore/SE Asia. It manages expectations for evening charters who think they can swim at night (which is dangerous).
