Safety & Boarding Guidelines

Last Updated: February 13, 2026

Focus: Setting expectations for a “Zero-Friction” and safe experience at Keppel Bay / One°15.

Coconut Yachts | Safety & Boarding Guidelines

1. The “No Shoes” Policy
To protect the teak decking and luxury interiors of our vessels, we operate a strict no-shoes policy on board. Guests will be asked to remove footwear upon boarding; storage is provided.

2. Boarding and Lateness

  • Please arrive at the designated meeting point 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure.

  • The charter time begins at the agreed hour. We cannot extend the charter duration for late arrivals due to back-to-back scheduling.

3. Safety Briefing
Upon boarding, all guests must attend a mandatory Safety Briefing conducted by the Captain or Crew. This covers life jacket locations, emergency exits, and on-board conduct.

4. Guest Conduct & Children

  • Children: Guests under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Life jackets are mandatory for children while the vessel is in motion.

  • Swimming: Swimming is permitted only in designated areas during daylight hours and at the Captain’s discretion.

  • Prohibited Behavior: Illegal substances and firearms are strictly prohibited. The Captain reserves the right to terminate the charter without refund for unruly or dangerous behavior.

5. Smoking & Red Wine

  • Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor aft areas.

  • Red Wine Policy: Red wine and staining foods (curries/berries) may be restricted on certain vessels to prevent permanent damage to upholstery.

3. Refund Policy

Focus: Transparency regarding how and when money is returned.

Coconut Yachts | Refund Policy

1. General Conditions
Refunds are processed based on the specific terms outlined in our Cancellation Policy.

2. Mechanical Failure or Company Cancellation
In the highly unlikely event that Coconut Yachts must cancel a charter due to technical failure of the vessel or unforeseen operational constraints:

  1. We will attempt to provide a replacement vessel of a similar or higher standard.

  2. If no replacement is available, a 100% full refund will be issued to the client.

3. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days.

  • Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during booking (Bank Transfer, PayNow, or Credit Card).

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • Catering & Add-ons: Once a catering order or bespoke add-on (e.g., DJ, specific floral arrangements) has been confirmed and paid to the third-party vendor, these amounts are non-refundable regardless of the charter cancellation status.

  • Credit Card Surcharges: Any processing fees (e.g., 3.5% for Stripe/Credit Cards) are non-refundable as they are collected by the payment gateway.
