Coconut Yachts (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data in compliance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2012.

We collect data necessary to facilitate luxury maritime experiences, including:
Identity Data: Full name, NRIC/Passport number (required for port manifests), and date of birth.
Contact Data: Email address and mobile number.
Financial Data: Payment card details and billing addresses.
Technical Data: IP address and website usage via cookies.
2. Purpose of Data Use
We use your data to:
Process bookings and maritime manifest requirements.
Communicate quotations and booking confirmations.
Comply with Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) regulations.
Provide personalized concierge services and add-on coordination.
3. Disclosure to Third Parties
We may share your data with trusted partners to fulfill your charter, including:
Vessel Crews: For safety and service personalization.
Catering & Amenity Vendors: To deliver requested add-ons.
Regulatory Bodies: Such as the MPA or Singapore Coast Guard when legally required.

Coconut Yachts Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
Confirmation: A booking is only secured upon receipt of a 100% full payment (or 50% deposit as agreed) and a signed charter agreement.
Currency: All transactions are in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
2. Charter Manifest and Safety
Capacity: Total guests must not exceed the licensed capacity of the vessel as stated in your booking.
Captain’s Authority: The Captain has absolute authority regarding safety, navigation, and guest conduct. The Captain may terminate a charter without refund if guests engage in illegal or dangerous behavior.
Safety Briefing: All guests must attend the mandatory safety briefing prior to departure.
3. Vessel Damage and Liability
The Lead Charterer is responsible for any damage caused to the yacht, its equipment, or interiors by the charter party.
Coconut Yachts is not liable for personal injury or loss of personal property during the charter. Guests are encouraged to obtain personal travel/leisure insurance.
4. Prohibited Items
Illegal drugs, firearms, and hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.
Red wine and certain staining foods may be restricted on specific vessels to protect upholstery.
Singapore weather is unpredictable; you need a clear “Rainy Day” policy.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation by Client
More than 30 days prior: 90% Refund.
14 to 30 days prior: 50% Refund.
Less than 14 days prior: No refund.
2. Weather Policy (The “Rainy Day” Rule)
Light Rain: Charters proceed as planned. Yachts are equipped with covered areas.
Heavy Rain/Thunderstorm: In the event of a “Warning” from the NEA or if the Captain deems the weather unsafe, the charter will be delayed.
Rescheduling: If weather prevents departure for more than 1.5 hours, the charter may be rescheduled to a later date within 3 months (subject to availability). No cash refunds are issued for weather.
3. Mechanical Failure
In the unlikely event of technical failure, we will attempt to provide a replacement vessel of similar standard. If no replacement is available, a 100% refund will be issued.
